Mariama A (2017) attends a rural school of 2400 students. There is no electricity, water (not even a well), or latrines.

For Mariama, the worst is the lack of teachers willing to work in rural schools. She has had many classes without teachers. For this reason, Mariama would like to become an English teacher and fill the gap for rural students like herself and her peers.
