Akshita Siddula

Akshita Siddula (she/her) is a community organizer and public health professional based in Baltimore, USA. She is currently serving as the Executive Director of The 6th Branch, a nonprofit organization that transforms vacant lots into productive green spaces such as parks, playgrounds, and urban farms. 

Akshita first volunteered with Expanding Lives in 2009 and went on to form and serve on the Expanding Lives Junior Board for 4 years. Nearly 10 years later, she returned to join the Board of Directors. Akshita holds an MS in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University, a BS and BA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and is a Global Atlantic Fellow for Health Equity.
